Refund Cancellation

1. General Cancellation Policy

  • Most Airline Tickets are Non-Refundable. Unless specifically stated otherwise at the time of booking, all airline tickets sold by FlyWeeks are considered non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-assignable.
  • 24-Hour Cancellation Window: For certain bookings made at least one week (7 days) prior to flight departure, we may offer a courtesy cancellation window of 24 hours from the time of booking for a full refund. This is subject to specific airline policies and is not guaranteed for all ticket types (e.g., "Basic Economy" or specific low-cost carriers).
  • Voluntary Cancellations: If you wish to cancel a non-refundable ticket, you may be eligible for a "Future Flight Credit" with the airline, valid for a specific period (usually 1 year). This credit is subject to airline penalties and fare differences.

2. Our Agency Service Fees

FlyWeeks is a travel management agency. In addition to any penalties charged directly by the airline, FlyWeeks charges a processing fee for handling cancellations, refunds, and exchanges.

These fees are non-refundable and are charged per passenger:

  • Cancellation / Refund Processing Fee: $50.00 – $100.00 USD
  • Ticket Exchange / Date Change Fee: $50.00 – $150.00 USD
  • Name Correction (where permitted): $50.00 USD

Note: The total cost to change or cancel a flight = Airline Penalty + Fare Difference (if any) + FlyWeeks Agency Fee.

3. Refund Processing Times

  • If a refund is approved by the airline, please note that the timeline is determined by the carrier, not FlyWeeks.
  • Standard Processing: Refunds typically take 1–2 billing cycles (approx. 30–60 days) to appear on your original form of payment.
  • Agency Action: Once we receive a refund confirmation from the airline, we will process the credit to your account immediately, minus any applicable service fees.

4. Airline Schedule Changes & Involuntary Cancellations

  • Airlines occasionally change flight schedules or cancel flights due to operational issues or weather.
  • Involuntary Cancellations: If the airline cancels your flight and cannot rebook you, you are generally entitled to a full refund.
  • Our Role: FlyWeeks will assist you in processing this refund request with the airline. However, our initial booking service fees are non-refundable as the service of booking the ticket has already been performed.

5. "No Show" Policy

  • If you do not check in for your flight or are not at the gate at the scheduled departure time, the airline will mark you as a "No Show."
  • Consequence: "No Show" tickets strictly hold no value. They cannot be refunded, exchanged, or used for future credit.
  • Advice: If you cannot make your flight, you must contact us before the flight departs to avoid a "No Show" status.
